Distances run about 1.5 miles from the Redwood Creek trailhead, 2.5 miles via Tall Trees, or 6.5 miles from the Orick Horse Trailhead. Camp must be set at least a quarter mile from Tall Trees Grove.
Know Before You Go
There are no toilets, so Leave No Trace practices apply. Creek water is non-potable and must be treated. Hanging food or using a bear canister is required. Camping is closed from October 15 to April 1, and a backcountry permit is required.
