Overview

Camping here is dispersed on the creek's gravel bars, with no designated sites and a limit of 50 campers per night. Distances run about 1.5 miles from the Redwood Creek trailhead, 2.5 miles via Tall Trees, or 6.5 miles from the Orick Horse Trailhead. Camp must be set at least a quarter mile from Tall Trees Grove.

Know Before You Go

There are no toilets, so Leave No Trace practices apply. Creek water is non-potable and must be treated. Hanging food or using a bear canister is required. Camping is closed from October 15 to April 1, and a backcountry permit is required.
