Overview
From the parking area at the south end of Enderts Beach Road, the route follows the Last Chance Section of the California Coastal Trail along coastal cliffs. About a third of a mile in, a signed junction before Nickel Creek marks the spur that descends 200 feet to the beach. Two interpretive panels along the way cover tidepools and coastal vegetation.
What to See
The beach is known for tidepooling, and low tides offer the best access to the pools. Tides shift twice a day, so timing a visit around a low tide matters. There are no facilities at the beach itself; parking is at the trailhead lot.
Know Before You Go
The cliff-edge trail can be affected or closed by rock falls, so check current conditions. Dogs are not allowed on the trail. Swimming is unsafe here due to cold water, swift currents, and sneaker waves.
