What to expect
Sentinel runs about 3,280 feet. Two entrances allow a one-way walk through the main passage, much of which is roomy enough to stand in. Side and lower passages run deeper and are better left to experienced cavers. A helmet and three light sources are required, and a free permit is issued at the visitor center.
