Overview
The Main Trail runs along both sides of Redwood Creek and forms a loop that starts and ends at the visitor center. The full route is about 2 miles with roughly 30 feet of elevation gain, taking around two hours at an easy pace. It runs one way, counterclockwise, from Bridge 1 toward Bridge 3, with a shorter loop available by turning back at Bridge 2.
Trail Surface and Access
The path is a mixture of wooden boardwalk, asphalt, and packed native soil, firm throughout. Trail width averages about 37 inches. Accessible parking and accessible restrooms are available near the entrance plaza and behind the cafe and gift shop. Crossing at the second or third bridge lets visitors return early and cut the distance.
