Overview

Manzanita Lake sits in the northwest corner of the park, reached through the Northwest Entrance Station. The area has a campground, a day use area with a boat launch, picnic facilities, a camper store, an amphitheater, and restrooms. It is accessible year-round from the park highway, though services are minimal in winter and early spring (roughly November through April), when the road is plowed only between the Highway 89/44 intersection and Loomis Plaza.

Trails and Recreation

Hiking options include the 1.8-mile Manzanita Lake loop, the 0.5-mile Reflection Lake loop, and the half-mile Lily Pond Interpretive Trail. The lake has water access and a boat launch.

Know Before You Go

The Loomis Plaza parking lot often fills in summer, so the day use area can be a better place to park.
