Inside the cave
Lava Brook adds about 859 feet to the connected Labyrinth passage. Expect low ceilings that require crawling and a branching layout that is easy to get turned around in. A helmet and three light sources are required, and a free permit comes from the visitor center. Given the maze of passages, carrying a map and noting your route is worthwhile.
