
Kehoe Beach lies at the north end of the 11-mile Point Reyes Beach, reached by a 0.6-mile trail along Kehoe Marsh and over a dune. It is the only trail in the seashore where leashed dogs are permitted.

Overview
The trail to Kehoe Beach runs 0.6 miles one way (1.2 miles round trip), rated easy, following the northern edge of Kehoe Marsh and crossing a sand dune before reaching the beach at the northern end of Point Reyes Beach.
Dogs
This is the only trail within Point Reyes National Seashore where dogs are allowed. Pets are permitted on the trail and on the beach north of the trail year-round, and must be on a leash 6 feet or shorter at all times.
Know Before You Go
The surf here is treacherous, with pounding waves, rip currents, and a severe undertow. The water's edge is not safe for play or swimming.
