Overview
The pullout sits below Diamond Peak, whose steep rock wall rises on the uphill side of the highway. The view takes in Lassen Peak and the drainage of East Sulphur Creek below. Wildflowers such as mule's ear and rabbitbrush can be plentiful in season, and golden eagles and other raptors are often seen soaring from Diamond Peak and over the valley.
