Inside the cave
Blue Grotto runs about 1,541 feet. Ceilings are tall enough to walk through much of it, but the floor is broken and uneven, so footing takes attention. A helmet and three light sources are required, as with every cave in the monument. Blue Grotto has been closed at times for bat protection, so confirm it is open at the visitor center before heading out.
