Overview
Arroyo Sequit sits inland off Mulholland Highway, reached from Pacific Coast Highway by turning onto Mulholland and continuing several miles to the entrance. The site is easy to pass without noticing. A loop trail runs through grassy meadows that fill with wildflowers in spring, and an intermittent stream crosses the property when seasonal rains run.
Know Before You Go
The site draws stargazers in the evening because of its distance from heavy city light. After-hours access is not automatic; the National Park Service asks visitors to contact the park before planning a night visit. As NPS-managed land, leashed dogs are permitted on the trail (six-foot maximum leash). Bring water, since none is available on site.
