Queen Lily Campground sits where Spanish Creek and Indian Creek converge to form the east branch of the North Fork Feather River, creating a sweet spot for car camping with easy water access. Recent upgrades haven't stripped the place of its character, and you're walking distance from decent trout fishing and swimming holes.

The Camp
The campground holds several single-family sites that work for both tents and RVs, though you won't find hookups here. Each site comes with the essentials: table, fire ring with grill, plus vault toilets and drinking water scattered throughout. You're camping in Feather River Canyon at 2,000 feet elevation, where the forest setting gives you that mountain feel without the high-altitude chill.
The location puts you right on Highway 70, just east of where it meets Highway 89. That's convenient for access but means you'll hear some road noise. The trade-off is being steps from the river where Spanish and Indian Creeks merge.
What to Do
The North Fork Feather River runs within walking distance and holds a solid population of rainbow trout for anyone inclined to wet a line. The same stretch of water works well for swimming and wading when the weather cooperates. Beyond the immediate river access, you're positioned in the broader Plumas National Forest network of streams, lakes, canyons, and peaks.
For supplies or services, there's a full-service store with gas and phone access less than 10 miles out. That proximity means you can stock up easily but aren't camping in someone's parking lot.
